Sunday Afternoon Workshop
Take your work to the next level with this intensive, enriching workshop. Learn effective ways to investigate and develop the concept behind your work. Concept is vitally important in contemporary art. Concept allows you to move beyond the “how” and “what” of your artistic practice, enabling you to truly understand your own practice and to approach new ways of evolving your work.
Workshop includes lecture, discussion, slideshows, contemporary examples, research strategies, relevant resources and media. We will also review work and workshop artist statements.
Class dates: Two Sunday afternoons, October 1 & 8, 2017
Class time: 1 PM – 5 PM

Applied Color Theory - One Day Workshop
Mixing color is one of the most important tools for any artist.
In the morning, students will receive a comprehensive presentation on color which covers:
In the afternoon, students will learn to accurately mix any color, including the warm or cool version of it. Students will also be introduced to “Cezanne grays", what they are, how to get them, and how to use them.
